DTA participate in CUE Adelaide 2017

DTA scientists recently took part in the Contested Urban Environment Strategic Challenge -CUE Adelaide 2017 – held at the Old Adelaide Hospital. The challenge set out to test new technologies that aim to reduce the risk to soldiers and civilians in urban conflict zones.

Over 100 Australian Defence Force members and more than 80 researchers from the US, Canada, UK, New Zealand and Australia used the challenge to investigate the use of new intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities for soldiers when operating in cities during conflict.

CUE17 forms part of multi-year program run by The Technical Co-operation Program, of which New Zealand is a member.
